LEDs groove to bent shapes

Scientists managed to come up with a method to create traditional inorganic LEDs to be as flexible as new organic LEDs (better known as OLEDs). While the process is not ready to enter full commercialization just yet, it does require making a surface where only a tiny fraction is occupied by the actual LEDs while the rest will be composed of the material of choice to design the flexible or transparent background. that group of scientists decided that making one large LED sheet using gallium, indium and phosphorous among others is the way to go, chipping off whatever bits they didn’t need to leave a working red surface. The remaining bits are soon after transferred to another surface using elastic “printing” materials. While the wiring process is pretty difficult, none of the LEDs floped during the scientists’ evaluating.
